Often grown as annuals, Dutch Iris hybrids grow from bulbs that are able to be planted in fall or spring. These graceful and elegant flowers are a favorite and bloom atop grass-like foliage. They are easy to grow and, if the zone is appropriate, are excellent for naturalizing. Using Dutch Irises as cut flowers is a popular choice. Iris Blue Ribbon produces blue-purple falls, with lighter blue standards. An excellent choice for its color alone which will enrich any garden.
